The Scout must complete the following:

1.      Choose one of the following two options:

a.      Hold, or meet the requirements of the Young Lifesaver (Key Stage 3 [Senior]) of the St. John Ambulance, and demonstrate how to prevent and treat the effects of sunstroke and dehydration and hypothermia.

b.      Hold, or meet the requirements of The Schools First Aid Certificate of the British Red Cross Society.
